Warren County (Tuesday, June 2, 2015) – Utility work will require two short-term full closures on Interstate 71 starting Friday, June 5.
Beginning at 11 p.m. Friday, there will be one 15 minute full closure on north and southbound I-71 at Mason Montgomery Road. In addition, at 3 a.m. Saturday, June 6 there will be one 15 minute full closure on north and southbound I-71 in the same location. Law enforcement officers will maintain traffic and all lanes will reopen by 6 a.m.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
