Warren County (Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014) –Various lane closures on the ramp from northbound Interstate 71 to Mason-Montgomery Road are scheduled tonight, beginning at 9 p.m.
Lane closures will be in place to implement a modification of the ramp to help relieve congestion during congestion. While the ramp’s current configuration of two left turn lanes, a through and a right turn lane at its intersection with Mason-Montgomery Road will remain, the ramp’s two lanes will tie directly into both left turn lanes with through and right turn traffic moving into their respective lanes. All lanes of traffic will reopen by 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3.
Arrow boards and “New Traffic Pattern” signs will be in place to alert motorists.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
